A very Midwestern still life featuring Old Style and Pabst Blue Ribbon beers. Classic beers, being recycled as vessels for some midwestern wildflowers. Queen Anne’s lace, purple coneflower, wild roses and rose hips, cosmos, and pink milkweed. I like to do my research when I paint, and made sure to be specific with my flower choices to reflect what we actually see growing in local gardens around town here in Chicago.
