In honor of my love of the most delicious paczki. Each year I head over to my favorite Polish bakery in Chicago and get an assortment of these delicious treats. Traditional flavors shown here, raspberry, apricot, plum, rose and a few with a cream filling.

Paczki are Polish donuts fried and filled with creams and jams. Each Easter season, they are made before the beginning of Lent, where many give up sweets and other rich foods. They are delicious on either Tłusty czwartek (Fat Thursday) or Ostatki (Fat Tuesday) and all days in between!
